To my valued patients,
At this time, I would like to welcome and introduce Dr. Carlos Torre. Dr. Torre has decided to continue the legacy that Southeastern Ear, Nose, Throat, and Sinus Center has developed and maintained for over 40 years. Dr. Torre has integrated the well-known South Florida Sleep, Snoring, and Sinus Clinic of FL into Southeastern. Dr. Torre comes to our practice with fellowship training in Sleep Medicine from Stanford University, as well as expertise in other areas of our specialty. He was one of the first surgeons nationally to implant the Inspire device for sleep apnea. Before starting the Sleep, Snoring & Sinus Clinic of Florida, Dr. Torre was part of the faculty at the University of Miami, where he developed the Sleep Surgery division. Dr. Torre joins Southeastern while keeping the same culture our practice has enjoyed for years, along with this added specialty training.
I am excited to introduce Dr. Torre to our patients, along with Nurse Practitioner Mayvi Quinones, who comes to us with over a decade of experience in our specialty, also formerly with the University of Miami. Although I pass the baton to Dr. Torre, I will continue to work at the center, with no plans to retire soon, but at reduced hours to have more time to enjoy my beautiful wife, three children in different states, and my six beautiful grandchildren. Our team will continue to care for our patients as usual.
